A little bit
about me
General
I graduated as a Graphic Designer from Nottingham Trent University in 2015. Since then I’ve spent time working at various multidisciplinary agencies in London, Vancouver and New York (the last one remotely). I’m now living in Wiltshire with my Wife, Daughter and Miniature Dachshund.
During my time as a designer I’ve worked on a broad range of projects including branding, wayfinding and collateral including websites, out of home + online advertising, animation and brochures.
In my spare time I enjoy being out and about with a camera, which has often been a useful skill that translates well into the workplace. I find this knowledge also comes in extra handy when art directing photoshoots.
Over the years I’ve introduced animation to my skill set, finding this often goes the extra mile, either when selling a concept to a client or putting the finishing touches on the production phase.

Designer –Thackway McCord (Nov 2022 - Present)
Working alongside director Kat McCord, I work as a senior designer creating multiple corporate brands from start to finish including all final collateral where necessary.
Designer – Ion Brand Design (Dec 2020 - June 2022)
Handling and leading day to day correspondence and requests for several of our main clients including creation of brochures, print ads and menus (both online and print). Designing campaigns and wayfinding, often leading into production in print, digital or animation. Presenting my own directions and ideas directly to clients and participating in brand workshops.
Designer - Bandstand (Jul 2018 - Jun 2020)
Creating campaign directions and taking them into the production phase, here I would create all print and digital materials to spec and provide art direction to HTML coders. Planned and art-directed photoshoots. Worked on large OOH campaigns, often being the only pair of hands needed to see projects through from conception to completion.

The following is a collection of work specifically tailored to bluemarlin, I’ve chosen to focus in on these areas of my portfolio as I feel they are relevant but please feel free to explore the rest of my portfolio too.
Branding
I’ve been lucky enough to work on a bunch of great branding projects over the last few years. From financial services sector businesses to female specific medication. They’re obviously very different sectors and this has taught me to adapt and flex to whatever the subject matter may be.
Advertising
My second job was working at a branding and advertising agency in London named bandstand. The majority of my work here was OOH ad based work. Much of what I created was for one client named Tipi London. Everything you see below was created entirely by me from conception to production.
Animation
Throughout my career, I’ve always dabbled in animation. It’s become a really vaulable asset for me. From creating custom logo animations for clients to visualising complex ideas for early stage presentations.
